The Broom 395 has our latest concept in styling with frameless windows and steps both sides of the transom.
Hull Design & Construction
The hull and superstructure mouldings are of excellent quality and are produced using hand laid chopped strand mat and woven rovings in Lloyds approved isopthalic gel coat and resin, over double brushed isopthalic gel coat all but eliminating the risk of osmosis.
Substantial tranverse and longitudinal stringers are incorporated throughout the hull for strength. The hull and deck joint is both riveted and bonded.
Deck Layout
Well laid out to provide an easy to use boat when either passing through locks, low bridges or mooring up, yet provides comfort and safety when cruising offshore. Easy access to the transom with built in steps both sides on the large bathing platform.
The 395 incorporates a large deck area with full width seating and access doors each side enhancing security when cruising with children or in inclement weather.
Command Position
Ergonomically well laid out, the console design permits ease of monitoring the engine systems and navigation equipment, together with an excellent view. Weather protection is provided by the large windscreen. A quick release two part hood protects the cockpit area and helm station.
Upholstery & Interior Fabrics
We offer a wide range of luxurious and practical interior and exterior upholstery fabrics, carpets and covers chosen exclusively by Broom Interior Design. Our design team will work closely with you in the early stages of the build process to ensure that the materials selected will deliver the boat of your dreams.
Interior Layout
The standard layout has been developed as a result of owners indicating to Broom a requirement for a boat that can provide more space for those who want to live aboard for longer periods. By limiting the number of berths to four it has been possible to create two spacious cabins and a larger saloon. This has the added advantage of providing plenty of seating for daytime entertaining on board, together with a utility area opposite the galley.
Alternatively owners can choose the dinette layout, which incorporates an additional seating area adjacent to and on the same level as the galley. There is a sideboard to portside, with a removable seat which can easily be moved to the saloon seating area. The 395 has a top speed of 27 knots subject to the engines specified. The craft is available with a single engine giving speeds of up to 16 knots and a wide range of navigational equipment as optional extras.
