The first Broom Boat Show was held at the weekend and despite some atrociuos weather conditions over 700 visitors flocked in from all over the UK to view the range of new, used and classic Broom boats on display.
The event marked the launch and first public viewing of the New Broom 35 Coupe and there was a constant queue to view the boat throughout the entire weekend. The New Coupe is already proving to be a huge success with five boats sold ahead of the launch.
Broom’s UK dealers Bray Marine Sales, Newark Marina and Norfolk Boat Sales jointly hosted the Boat Show with Broom, which was held at Broom’s fantastic 9 acre waterside facility in Brundall, Norfolk. Over 250 people attended factory tours throughout the weekend.
Whilst the launch of the New Broom 35 Coupe was the highlight of the show, the 700+ visitors were also delighted to see two versions of the award winning Broom 370 on display. The single engine Broom 370 and the twin engine 370 were both very well received.
A number of other prestige brands exhibited at the Broom Boat Show, including Robinsons Mercedes with 7 cars on display, Raymarine with a full exhibition of their latest electronic equipment, Gun Hill with their fantastic clothing on display, Nanni engine distributer AR Peachment, BCBM boat share ownership and, of course, Broom’s own service and repair centre, Broom Marine Services. Guests also enjoyed wine, cream teas and jazz throughout the weekend.
Sales & Marketing Manager, Greg Houlston commented, “this first Broom Boat Show was a huge success and we’ve established a foundation here from which to develop the show further for next year. Visitors travelled from near and far away to view our beautiful boats and with the 370, 455 and 35 Coupe now developed and successfully launched, Broom’s DNA of high quality boats with real style and character has been firmly established.
This bodes well for the launch of the new Broom 395 and Broom 30 Coupe later this year”.
