Broom Boats, the longest established motor-boat manufacture in Britain, welcomed Geoffrey Van Orden MEP and David Campbell Bannerman MEP to its facilities on Wesnesday 7th May. The MEPs for the Eastern Region, joined by Councillors Kate Millbank and Mike Snowling, recognised the exceptional product quality achieved by Broom and the success Broom has achieved in exporting to the European Market.
The group discussed the economic challenges and opportunities facing British manufacturers of luxury products in a highly competitive market with Broom Boats MD Mark Garner and Head of Sales Greg Houlston. Broom Boats has invested over £4m over the last four years developing new models of luxury motor cruiser and in building boats for Broom Boating Holidays.
