There is nothing like enjoying the summer months onboard a boat, soaking up the sun and enjoying the freedom of being on the water in glorious sunshine. However, the Norfolk Broads have so much to offer year round that we have decided to extend our season, and offer a limited number of boats throughout the winter. Misty mornings, dramatic sunsets and an ever changing landscape from autumn through to spring; a winter boating holiday offers something truly unique.
The outside temperatures are probably the first thing that would concern people, but winter on the water needn’t be cold or unpleasant. Our modern and luxurious boats are fully heated and mean you can be warm and cosy whilst exploring a wonderland of natural beauty. The Broads are also extremely peaceful at this time of year, so if it is tranquillity you are looking for, it is pretty much guaranteed. For anyone with a keen interest in nature, photography, brisk country walks or long fireside pub lunches it could be the perfect winter getaway.
