Take only memories, leave only crumbs
We’re hugely proud of our Norfolk heritage. It’s a region rich in history, culture and of course food. Cookies made by Norfolk Cookie Company are among the expanding stock of Norfolk made produce soon to be available to buy from our riverside kiosk.
They’re provided by our catering partner Ginger Lily. Company founder Sam Brown is a Norfolk boy himself and shares our passion for sourcing products locally. We’re delighted to be working with Sam and have exciting plans for the year ahead.
About Ginger Lily
Sam began his career in catering at Norwich City College where he started a student-led company called Devour Foods. After graduation he re-branded the company to Ginger Lily.
Ginger Lily is now a one stop shop catering and event planning company specialising in seasonal foods. They’re also a member of Proudly Norfolk, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to celebrating the diverse food and drink industry in Norfolk.
Ginger Lily works with businesses to help them meet their catering goals. This includes those with or without hospitality experience such as Redwings Horse Sanctuary at Caldecott Hall, Fritton.
Sam and his team will be keeping our riverside kiosk stocked with local products and a range of their own cakes and sandwiches. “I wanted to work with Broom because they have a brilliant reputation and are long standing in the community,” said Sam.
Coming soon
We’ve exciting plans to expand our on-site refreshment services with Ginger Lily. We’re keeping these under wraps for now. Let’s just say we’ll soon be launching two new services so you can get your teeth around even more Norfolk-made food.
