Clean Sweep – our most luxurious Norfolk Broads hire boat
Clean Sweep takes pride of place at the centre of our charter fleet. At 45ft, it’s most suitable for people with previous boating experience. Like all Broom charter boats, Clean Sweep has bow thrusters for improved manoeuvrability.
We like the space that this hire boat provides. It’s great for entertaining and relaxing as you explore the Norfolk Broads. It has two double walk-around berths, a large dining area, spacious galley and upper deck.
Explorer – comfort with more berths
If you’d prefer to holiday in a larger party, Explorer can sleep up to 8 people. It’s the same size as Clean Sweep so we recommend you include a couple of experienced boaters in your party.
The large opening sunroof over the saloon adds to the already spacious living area. Like Clean Sweep it’s a sociable and comfortable choice.
Commodore – for groups of up to 6
Commodore is like the Captain but has an extra cabin with bunks for groups of up to 6 people. It has a lavish saloon with folding door access to the rear sun deck.
Captain – our most popular Norfolk Broads hire boat
Captain is spacious for 4, which is why it’s one of our most popular charter boats. At 35ft, it’s a more manageable option for first time visitors to the Norfolk Broads. It features a spacious saloon with folding door access to the rear sun deck and a contemporary fitted galley (kitchen).

Cadet – a stylish compact cruiser
The dog-friendly Cadet is a stylish, compact cruiser for 2 people. A removable canopy allows you to soak up the sun from either the forward or rear sun decks, or even from the comfort of your captain’s seat.
Skipper – all-weather cruising
With a hard top, removable rear canopy section and sliding sunroof over the cockpit, Skipper is perfect for all seasons. It has a luxury master cabin for 2 and a comfortable dining area.
Bolero – a Broom classic
This hire boat provides effortless cruising and is ideal for first time boaters. Bolero is a classic Norfolk Broads hire boat with the interior all on one level. It has one bedroom, and the saloon converts to second double.
The forward steering position provides a good view of the river, so you can still enjoy chatting with family or friends while you steer. Like all Broom hire boats, Bolero has bow thrusters for improved manoeuvrability
Norfolk Broads day boat hire
Whether you want to hire a boat for a day, or escape for a few hours, our Navigator Norfolk Broads day boats are the perfect way to enjoy the quieter side of the Norfolk Broads.
You could take a day trip to Norwich and enjoy some shopping, or head down river to Reedham for lunch. Alternatively, enjoy a shorter trip from our Brundall boat yard to Surlingham or Rockland.
